deaffisherman Nope, its still pikerel. Pikerels has their variety light to dark color, in which, your is in dark color. Its easily mis-identify the pike from this one. But nice catch!

kenwood Yeah, sometimes pickerels can have marking similar to a pike. That's definitely a pickerel, though.
The easiest way to identify a pickerel is to look for a dark vertical line that extends downward from their eye (like mascara running, I guess).
