Looking For Stripers

Left @ 7:00 from Middletown RI. Followed the birds, schoolie stripers chasing the little minnows, 24 in, 23 in, 25 in. We decided to head up the bay, north to the providence river in search for porgy. Did not find porgy till we hit the new I bridge, the old shooters, right near the hurrican barriers, latched on to 5 porgy. The pods were small in size, but the good news, THE PORGY ARE IN.Then we , in the same area, live lining porgy, no luck but action is definetly picking up
