Buckmaster pond Westwood, MA Fishing Report
First Double Digit Day Of 2011!
This is a trip from a week or two ago, I'm only getting around to posting it now because my camera has been dead and I couldn't find the charger. Had to buy a new one last night.
So I took the canoe out to buckmaster on a warm sunny day figuring the fish would be turned on by the warmer water temps and calm weather. I immediately paddled to a spot in the northwestern corner of the pond where there is tons of nice cover and sure enough; BAM! fish on! I was catching em' left and right. Most were 12 - 14" 1 - 1 1/2 lb ers, but I did catch a couple larger ones. One was maybe 3 1/2 lbs and the other a good 2 1/2. Good day on the water, got a nice sun burn too!
